just write and see what happens.
After many and I mean many years of contemplating writing a book I have now found myself with more than enough time on my hands, no I'm not retired, quite away to go yet! The one thing that has always put me off is embarrassment, what would people think, would they think it rubbish? Well what does it matter, because now I have begun I am enjoying it and it doesn't really matter where it leads to. if anywhere, the reason I am posting this is to contact others in a similar situation, the situation is feedback, any tips or criticism and experiences, my website is http://bemycriticandhelp.com/ where you can view some of my efforts and comment, it also has other posts not relating to book writing which you might find of interest but let me stress this is not a money making exercise and is purely a hobby, please feel free to visit, all welcome. Starting out.
Hi all, since I'm a debutant I will keep this short and will return later once I feel that I have something better to contribute.
The main reason I have created this blog is because I have a website (three months old) and I am not sure if it is working and would like to use this blog to invite people who might have any tips to share on book writing and promoting my site which, is not might I add or ever will be to generate income, is simply a hobby (the site), book writing has always been at the back of mind, since childhood and now it has all but taken over, the only problem is, although I have ideas and have even been working on one it is my lack of experience (we've all got start somewhere, I know) and education, I was a terrible attendee at school and took no further education before entering the construction industry but as I have already mentioned I have now been compelled to pick up the pen and must say I am enjoying it but have no one to share with, advise me or even criticise my "work", I will of course take any critism on board and would not be hurt by it, quite the opposite in fact, I will put it to good use!
